About University of Eldoret
The ICTP-INDAM Collaborative Grants and Research Pairs program for 2026 is a joint initiative by the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) and the Italian National Institute for High Mathematics (INDAM). Its primary objective is to stimulate and sustain long-term scientific collaboration between researchers in Italy and their counterparts in developing countries, with a particular focus on mathematics and its applications.
The LEAP-RE Call 2026 is a major competitive funding instrument under the Long-Term Europe-Africa Partnership on Renewable Energy (LEAP-RE) program, a cornerstone of the EU-Africa cooperation in research and innovation. Co-funded by the European Union and a consortium of African and European national funding agencies, this call aims to finance transnational collaborative projects that address key challenges in renewable energy access and integration.
The Nestlé Foundation for the Study of Problems of Nutrition in the World supports pioneering research aimed at improving the nutritional status and public health of populations in Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs). The foundation's core mission is to fund investigator-initiated, scientific research that addresses critical problems of human nutrition, with a direct focus on practical and sustainable applications.

As part of the semester-long Millennium Fellowship journey, the Millennium Fellows University of Eldoret Class of 2025 have been implementing ‘Project Green’, an initiative focused on turning underutilized areas at the University of Eldoret into green, vibrant spaces. The project aimed to plant 100 trees and promote long-term environmental stewardship on campus. On the 18th November 2025, the fellows carried out a major field activity under Project Green, which involved planting trees across identified barren spots on campus.
University of Eldoret students have once again demonstrated their competency in digital innovation, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence by excelling at the Kenya Software and AI Summit 2025, held from 10–12 November 2025 at Moi University.
