Vice-Chancellor meets with Nursing Council Leadership

The Vice-Chancellor received a delegation from the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK), led by Ms. Betina Muthama, Director of Nursing Services (MOH) and Deputy Director of Education and Examination at NCK, along with Mr. Kevin Ngeno, Compliance Officer at NCK, and Ms. Pauline Okongo, Administrative Officer. The University management and the Nursing team engaged in successful deliberations on matters concerning the Nursing curriculum.

Disability Inclusion Sensitization Workshop

The Disability Mainstreaming Committee, in collaboration with the National Council for People with Disabilities (NCPWD), organized an awareness workshop for members of the University community. Vice-Chancellor meets with Uasin Gishu C.E.C. Trade, Industrialization, Tourism, Cooperatives and Enterprise Development

Hon. Eng. Martha Cheruto, the C.E.C. Trade, Industrialization, Tourism, Cooperatives and Enterprise Development from the County Government of Uasin Gishu paid a courtesy call to Prof. Thomas Cheruiyot. Their discussions revolved around the collaboration between the University and the County Government as well as the various opportunities that could arise from the partnership.

Hotel and Hospitality Department Stakeholders’ Workshop

The University staff and students participated in the 2025 Eldoret Agricultural Society of Kenya Show that took place from 5th to 8th March 2025 to share experiences, research findings and innovations with other stakeholders. The 2025 Show theme was;

“Promoting Climate Smart Agriculture and Trade Initiatives for Economic Growth.”

University of Eldoret’s Dynamic Innovators Pitch at the Presidential Innovation Challenge and Award 2024-2025

The Presidential Innovation Award (PIA) is organized annually by the Kenya National Innovation Agency (KeNIA) to recognize and support innovators who demonstrate exceptional creativity and problem-solving skills to contribute to economic growth and job creation.  This year, several student teams from the University of Eldoret applied for this Award, and one of the teams was shortlisted under the University Category.

This is a kind reminder that all students are expected to have reported for the semester and completed their fee payments in full to be eligible for examination cards.

The printing of examination cards will take place from 31st March 2025 to 11th April 2025.
