Teaching and learning is still going on in the University through various modes, including the blended mode of study. Due to the ongoing computer cluster upgrade for enhanced eLearning resources and improved user experience, both the BigBlueButton platform(firstname.lastname@example.org) and the Learning Management System (ecampus.uoeld.ac.ke) will be experiencing some interruptions between 10th May and 4th June 2021. During this period, lecturers are advised to share teaching and learning materials with their students through other channels, apart from the Learning Management System. The blended teaching and learning may be conducted through the Google meet platform which comes as an additional feature with the University emails already issued to all lecturers, the Zoom platform or the KENET BigBlueButton platform. Both the ODeL and ICT Directorates who are implementing the cluster expansion shall ensure the interruptions are kept at a minimum.
This is to remind all students that online classes are ongoing
