Students’ Workshop On The Development Of Mobile Apps

Students of University of Eldoret are participating in a three-week intensive training and competition workshop on development of mobile apps by the Kenya National Commission for UNESCO (KNATCOM) through its Communication and Information Program. The inter-university workshop kick-started at Moi University’s Medical Education Centre to empower 50 brilliant students from University of Eldoret and Moi University in the realm of innovative technologies to solve various societal challenges and contribute to the realization of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Resource Mobilization Retreat

The Directorate of Resource Mobilization and Strategic Initiatives, under the leadership of Prof. Julius Ochuodho, hosted the Resource Mobilization retreat to set the pace towards creatively and innovatively seeking new approaches to mobilize resources from the internal and external opportunities available within the University.

Vice-Chancellor meets with Commissioner Isaac Melly from the Salaries and Remuneration Commission

During the 1st Town Hall meeting on December 18th, 2023 with members of the UoE community, Prof. Thomas Cheruiyot stated that he would strive to improve staff welfare. The V.C. held talks with Commissioner Hon. Isaac Melly from the Salaries and Remuneration Commission and discussed various areas of quality staff experiences.

Dr. Frank Masese

Dr Frank Masese is a Senior Lecturer of Aquatic Science in the Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Science at the University of Eldoret, Kenya. He holds BSc and MSc degrees in Fisheries and Aquatic Science from Moi University, Kenya, and a PhD in Freshwater Ecosystems from Wageningen University & Research, the Netherlands. In 2017-2019, Dr Masese was a Humboldt Postdoctoral Fellow at the Leibniz Institute for Freshwater Ecology and Inland Fisheries (IGB), Berlin, Germany.
