Moses Injendi Malulu, conducted a significant visit to the University on Wednesday 3rd April, 2024 marking a pivotal moment for both the institution and the legislative body. During the preparation and development of a Strategic Plan, the validation of the plan is done through the engagement of both internal and external stakeholders who participate in the exercise for consultation, comprehensive feedback and contribution of valuable ideas and information.

The University of Eldoret held an external stakeholder validation exercise for the Strategic Plan 2023-2027 on Thursday 21st March, 2024.

University of Eldoret International Students from the Main and Town Campus toured  Maasai Mara, a trip organized by Outreach and International Students Centre, between March 21^st & 22^nd, 2024. Dr. Lelei Kiboiy, the Dean of Students, accompanied the team while Mr. Joseph Keino represented the Town Campus. The "Tembea Kenya" initiative gives an opportunity to the International Students to appreciate and experience the heritage, culture and scenic physical attractions of our country, Kenya.

The Outreach and International Students Centre (OISC) organized an orientation exercise for International Students that was held on Friday, 1st March 2024 at the Outreach Centre, Main Campus. This event brought together International Students from Main Campus and Town Campus for the second year running. The purpose of this annual event is to welcome international students to the University and acquaint them with the various offices that will be of assistance to them during their academic stay at the University of Eldoret.

It was a beehive of activities at the Outreach and International Student’s Centre on 4th March, 2024 when International Students from different regions of Africa came together to showcase the different types of foods from their home countries. This is an annual event organized by the Centre where the students get a chance to showcase cuisines from their countries. The colorful event brought together international students from both Main and Town Campus.

The University of Eldoret, Outreach and International Students’ Centre (OISC) in collaboration with the Koibatek Farmers Training College (KFTC) and the Department of Agriculture, Baringo County organized for a one-day farmers’ training on Climate Smart Agriculture on Friday, 15th March 2024.  The training was organized following a request from the KFTC through the Department of Agriculture, Baringo County. One hundred and eighteen (118) participants attended the training.

Dr. Peter Kirui of the Department of Humanities, School of Arts and Human Development has been competitively selected for the prestigious InteRussia Spring Fellowship taking place at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) University of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation between 17th March 2024 and 28th April, 2024. Dr. Kirui is a seasoned lecturer who teaches History, Governance and Political Studies at University of Eldoret and is the immediate Head of Humanities Department.
