Welcome to Volume 2, Issue 1 of the University of Eldoret Intellectual Property Management Office (IPMO) Bulletin!

This edition comes at a time of reflection following the passing of Professor Phillip Raburu, Deputy Vice-Chancellor in charge of Planning, Research and Extension. We honour his memory and acknowledge his service and contribution to the University community.

In this July–September 2026 edition, we celebrate the University's growing innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem, highlighting initiatives in entrepreneurship training, robotics and artificial intelligence, student innovation competitions, and research commercialisation. We also spotlight emerging innovations, including Sci-Yetu and DatuShield, and look ahead to the 8th Innovation Week and Public Lecture in February 2027.

As we honour the past and embrace new possibilities, we invite students, staff, alumni, and partners to join us in building an inclusive, collaborative, and impact-driven innovation ecosystem.
