The scholarship is offered through a partnership between IUCEA and Kyungdong University (KDU) Global in South Korea.
Target Beneficiaries: Citizens and residents of EAC member states (Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, DR Congo, Somalia).
Program Level: Graduate (Master's) degrees only.

- Master of Engineering in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science
- Master of Arts in International Business Administration
- Master of Arts in International Hospitality and Tourism Management
Scholarship Value: It is a partial scholarship.
The first semester's full tuition ($5,000) is covered. For subsequent semesters, the scholarship amount (50% or 70% of tuition) depends on the student's academic performance. Students are responsible for dormitory fees ($1,100/semester), airfare, application fees, health insurance, and other personal expenses.
Key Requirements:
- An undergraduate degree.
- Proof of English proficiency (IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL iBT 71 minimum).
- A sponsor's bank statement showing over $16,000.
Application Process: A two-stage process where applicants first submit documents to IUCEA by December 12, 2025, followed by a final assessment by KDU Global.
Intake: The program commences in March 2026.
