The Outreach and International Students Centre (OISC) organized an orientation exercise for International Students that was held on Friday, 1st March 2024 at the Outreach Centre, Main Campus. This event brought together International Students from Main Campus and Town Campus for the second year running. The purpose of this annual event is to welcome international students to the University and acquaint them with the various offices that will be of assistance to them during their academic stay at the University of Eldoret. Further, the event also serves as an induction meeting for the leadership of the International Students’ Organization.

During this meeting, various departments were represented which included the Board of Post Graduate Studies, Dean of Students, Library, Hostels, Health Services, Admissions, Town Campus, Security, Games and OISC. The departments are invited to the event based on their relevance in ensuring the welfare of the international students at UoE.

The Heads of departments addressed the students on different issues concerning the University and the function of each department they serve. This raises the awareness of the students on the relevant offices they can visit when they are faced with different challenges during their study here at the University of Eldoret.
