Library Brochure

The University of Eldoret Library offers a wide range of resources across its floors, including open-shelf books on the 2nd and 3rd floors, periodicals and digital services on the 1st floor, and past exam papers on the 2nd floor. Special collections include reference materials, short-loan high-demand textbooks, and UN publications on the 3rd floor. Users can access e-resources via MyLOFT and search the catalogue using OPAC. Key contacts are available for plagiarism checks (max 15% similarity), thesis formatting, and repository submissions.

Library rules prohibit eating, smoking, noise, and reserving seats. Borrowing limits range from 4 books for 14 days (undergraduates) to 6 books for 28 days (postgraduates and staff), with overdue fines of KES 10/day or KES 5/hour. Security includes CCTV and bag checks, and users must vacate by closing time. Emergency evacuation procedures are in place, and the library enforces strict penalties for misconduct, theft, or plagiarism.
