The School of Agriculture and Biotechnology are the winners of this year’s Vice-Chancellor’s Cup after peeping out the School of Education in a thriller final match that was played at the University’s pavilion grounds.
The School of Agriculture and Biotechnology edged out their fierce rivals School of education with two goals to one (2-1) in a mouthwatering final that was attended by the University Management Board led by the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Teresa Akenga, University Alumni Executive and former Student leaders.
The Vice-Chancellor while awarding the teams commended them on their efforts, and thanked the Office of the Dean of Students for organizing the event. She called upon the office to organize more of such events yearly even within the other disciplines of sports to enhance nurturing of talents among the students.
